Lockout Hub Question

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by Alex on January 29, 2004 at 12:26:28 from (198.108.160.240):

Does anybody know if there is a difference between the Warn lockout hubs on a Ford or Dodge pickup, if both trucks have a Dana 60 front axle.
I have a 92 Dodge, but got one hub stolen off the truck, the one that I got from a junkyard, turns around about 3/4 turn to engage, don't know what it came off of, the original engages at about 1/4 turn. Don't think the junkyard part locks the hub into position, least it don't feel like it is. Durn things aren't cheap.
Thanks for any input.
Alexander
