1936 Ford 1.5 ton truck w/eaton 2 speed axlePosted by Gordon NH on January 24, 2004 at 14:10:30 from (24.62.207.10): I have a friend with a 1936 ford dump with eaton 2 speed. He tells me that the rear axle is supposed to "pivot" on some sort of pad. I have not seen the truck, but this doesn't sound right. How does the eaton 2 speed attach to the rear springs. Standard u bolts and plates?? I'm aware of the torque tube set up. The truck was purchased with missing parts. Many thanks in advance. Gordon NH
