I would like coments on this:

Repowering a 1970's Ford F250 4X4 with a 4-53 detroit it would be naturally aspirated with N50 injectors,, roughly put out 137H.P @ 2800 i would have to use a Allison Transmission like a AT545 5 speed or if i got a adaptor made to fit a Ford C6 (C6 off a ford 460 would be good to)
That At545 weights 275 LBS dry, the 4-53 weights 1260 so if i use aluminum bell houseing and front cover i can cut 120-130 LBs off the engine so i could fit that big Allison in there..(i could also cut some things off the truck to cut weight down to)

would this be a good idea or to heavy.... thanx
