what type of lic. plates and ins.

how do you guys plate and insure these farm trucks?i had 69 f600 dump truck that i had farm plates on and our insurer covered it as a pickup.now i dont haul for hire or nothing just here on the farm.but i got rid of it and got a 64 dodge farm truck and want to put antique plates on it.i hear you can get away with more activitys if you do this.but do i still insure it like a pick up truck?thanks in advance
