Hand operated clutch idea

My 86 F150 has a hydraulic clutch. I don't want
to swap over an automatic but my left knee
gives me trouble clutching all the time. How
about if I tapped into the power steering circuit
for hydraulic pressure and having a valve
mounted near the top of the shifter handle to
actuate the clutch? My truck has the 300-6
engine and there is lots of room under the
hood. I have lots of spare parts. I have also
thought of mounting a 2nd power steering
pump on the engine for only powering the
slave cylinder for the clutch. Any ideas or
suggestions? Boyd
