There is an extrememly limited market place for the older larger trucks. I personally love them, but watching on Ebay and in other sales venues the market is very limited. If you are fixing it up to drive on the road then I would seriously reconsider. These older trucks were not capable of the speeds or braking power that is required today. I drive my 59 Dodge once a week or so, and I'm careful to plan my route around high traffic areas. I would never take it on the freeway or interstate since top speed is about 55 or so. I would also not use it as a daily driver. You could also consider moving the body to more modern chassis or put modern running gear under the existing frame. If you are fixing it up to use around the farm, for the love of the truck, or to show then go for it.
