New truck Opinions Needed!

We're about to purchase a new dual wheel crew cab. We want the diesel with automatic trans. This truck will be used to pull a mid sized tractor-mounted drill rig (6000 - 8000 lbs.)
Ford and Chevy are close on the money.

Which would you recommend?
