79 ford L600 steering shaft

on this truck the steering shaft makes a sharp turn, the steering wheel is almost straight up, and there is some type of joint with a boot over it that makes the bend. the boot has a rip in it and i was wondering how hard it would be to replace it and where i could get one or what would be a good substitute for the original.
