What kind of heater for working on trucks in garage?

I need a cheap heater to use in a 2 car garage
while working on my F150s. I looked at a little
wood stove that would hold 3-4 pieces of split
wood. It was $158.00 at Fleet Farm. I would be
changing carbs and working with some
flamables. What would put out good heat?
What would be safe or would I need to open
the big door for some jobs. I have a lot of
mechanical experience, but don't know much
about heaters.
