62 C15 brakes and steering help!!

Hi all, I have a 62 C1500 that I recently bought and getting ready for as my winter project. The engine was changed out for a 327 and a 4 speed before I aquird the truck. I know I can buy the disc brake conversion kits, but I am doing this on a tight budget, so I would like to keep the cost down where I can, so junk yard land here I come..........Am I right in believing that the disc brakes, booster and spindles off a 71-73 chevy truck will work on my 62, is this correct? Are there other vechiles that I could use the brake set up from? Also I would like to add power steering, any ideas of what car/truck would be a good donor?
