I too have the "snuff Can", and having trouble with it. When the thermostat opens (at temperature), the upper tank is flooded with the hot radiator water, then promptly spills/drains out the overflow tube from that device. I took it apart, and there are NO GUTS inside! Is there supposed to be? It looks as if it should have a plunger/spring device or something. If so, where can I find that?
