truck dies

The 54 chevy i bought runs and drives fine for about a mile then dies and will not start untill it cools down. It hasn't been driven for 27 years untill now. I have replaced the coil,points,condenser,fuel pump,and rebuilt the carb. It will start fine after cool down. Any ideas?
