!969 F-250 Starting ProblemPosted by JPM in WA on May 21, 2007 at 07:03:07 from (66.109.194.71):
Originally I had a problem with the battery losing its charge over aprox. a two week period. I could charge the battery and then run it for another two weeks or so. Well, I tired of that and decided to "fix" it. I can't remember my reasoning, but I decided to replace the starting motor relay. Bad idea? or Bad part? Ever since I did that the truck won't start and the battery sparks at the pos. side when the ignition is turned. I have a charging system wiring diagram, but other than that I am pretty clueless about this vehicle. Can someone give me some advice. The more details the better. Thanks.
