Brooks, Oregon truck show

There is a truck show at Antique Powerland at Brooks Oregon on the 4th saturday in August. It is sponsored by the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum. This year they are featuring orphan trucks.

Saw the above sentence mentioned in another post, just wondering what is an orphan truck?
BTW I own a 63 GMC flatbed that i'm trying to fix up,it has the plaid valve covers with a 305 engine. Thanks Joe
