case VACPosted by mike on February 26, 2007 at 21:47:29 from (71.36.123.131):
I feel like an idiot. When my old 6 volt battery was hooked up,(In my 1946 Case VAC), I was able to turn over the engine by jumping it with a 12 volt battery and by pushing in the starter button. Now that I've replaced the old 6 volt with another 6 volt the engine tries to turn over as soon as I connect the post. (doesn't seem like enough juice) The switch doesn't need to be pushed in. Any ideas would be helpful. I tried to hook up a 12 volt just to see if it was the battery, and it does the same thing. Thanks for the help.
