Posted by Southpaw on January 28, 2007 at 17:42:03 from (209.137.215.211):

I have a block that I would like to identify. It is a Y-block possibly a 292 ci. Left side of block has numbers CIAE 8015R. RIght side of block has G24 by #3 cylinder. Pistons measure 3 3/16th inch in diameter. These seem to be original pistons and are not marked oversized. Block has a rebuilt tag on it and the block is sky-blue in color. It is some kind of truck engine. Any help is appreciated.
