Carb Question #2Posted by RoySC on December 15, 2006 at 02:48:48 from (65.0.252.48):
First, thanks all for reponding to my first question posted several messages below. I have a 1986 Chevy C-60 with a 366 CID (6L) engine. It has a holley carburetor model # 4150EG. I finally got it started but it idles rough after warm up. I notice the choke plate stays closed, even after it's warm. I'm use to seeing a thermostatic spring / coil that controls the position of the choke plate....not on this model...or at least I can't find it. Any advice on getting my choke plate to open as the engine warms up would be appreciated as I think this would solve my rough idle after start-up. Thanks again!!
