Whatever happened to Hayes logging trucks ???

Don't seem to see any Hayes trucks on the roads anymore. They used to be built in Vancouver I believe and most of their stuff was logging trucks (I think), maybe other types as well. At one time, almost every logging truck you'd see in BC was a Hayes, well maybe I'm exaggerating on that part. Were they ever sold into the states or just in Canada?
