Dual brake systemsPosted by Sonny Heath on July 29, 2006 at 19:20:56 from (204.49.132.137): I put on a set of brake pads today for my brother-in-law on his 1994 Cadilac Concours. He got in his car and backed it out of my shop, ran in to a tree knocking off the right side (expensive) mirror and went on to hit a lawn packer I had sitting next to a carport knocking the packer in to the carport and bending the roof and two posts holding the carport up. I failed to tell him and he failed to check the pedal. My question: Why didn't the rear brake system stop him instead of the pedal going all the way to the floor and causing the wreck? Your opinions please. No, I won't ever fail to check my work in the future. Thanks, Sonny
