that had a 429 in it that didn't even shake at idle(smooth).That little brown truck out ran every other truck around from 1984 to 1987 till he sold it.One night he raced a 1977 black swb Chevrolet 454 400 tranny and liked to have been beat.If the Chevy had more rubber on the road and posi he would have but the 454 was hitting one heck of a lick while the Ford was idleing smooth.That was one of the best pick up match ups that I can remember.Had a 396 Nova SS(black) vs a 71 Mustang Cobra Jet 429 silver with black stripes hook up one night that was good till the CJ hit 3rd gear and it was all over for the Chevy.I miss that nowadays,guess I need to go to the track hadn't been in years.Any of ya do that now days?Jack(TN).
