79 Toyota pickupPosted by Mike S on June 16, 2006 at 15:11:27 from (68.219.123.82):
This truck has served me well for many years. Now that I am trying to sell it, it is acting up. No fuel, so did some research and figured out that the oil pressure unit on the side of the block was somehow not working and would not allow fuel to the pump, which is mounted in the tank. By disconnecting the oil pressure switch, truck runs great. I checked the fuel pump relay and it was okay, I checked the resister and it was okay. So, all I have to do is replace the pressure switch on the side of the engine and all should be well, or is there something else I should be looking at? I have a Toyota manual but it kinda glosses over this.
