Power window replacementPosted by Hawkeye on July 18, 2002 at 14:22:16 from (216.51.136.33): Hey there, got a question that I hope someone can answer for me. My old farm truck (1985 Ford F150 4x4) came with power windows, and now that it's nearing voting age, the motors in them are getting a little weak. I priced new ones and they run around $60 each (right side won't fit the left side on this thing), and everyone I've talked to says that used ones (if you can find them, which I have'nt been able to do) are in that range, give or take a few dollars. My question is this then: Is it possible to take the motors out and put a crank on the window, and what would it take to do such a thing? Thanks for any help. Hawkeye
