Hi All
We have a faulty ring gear thats causing problems with the starter motor not engaging, our engine is a Ford 300 six cylinder and the gear box is a 4 plus 4 configuration, I have been told that the ring gear could either have 180 teeth or 184 teeth as this truck is getting on in years and has had two motor changes that I know of in the last 15 years, I would like to know which is the correct flywheel/ring gear setup for that model truck.
ps with a little trouble I we can supply some more information if it helps
Thanking you in advance
Arthur
