62 GMC needs help

Posted by jim handke on March 24, 2006 at 06:04:02 from (65.167.222.204):

I have this 62 4000 series grain truck with the small V-6. Last spring I had to replace the brake booster, it was leaking so much brake fluid into it that the engine vacuum was sucking it into the intake manifold. After replacing the booster, I noticed last month that the engine sometimes acts like it still has a vacuum problem. Is there something in the vacuum circuit that i need to clean? There's no one around here with any experience of working with this old a GMC. Any and all help will be appreciated.
