I also have a 1954 (55 1st series) 2 ton 6400 and need wheels and rims. I've located several places to buy the tires (8.25 X 20 rear duals) and (7.50 X 20 front), but have not been as fortunate in finding new 10 lug rims. I have a late model motorhome on a GM chassis that has the 19.5 inch single piece wheels. The bolt pattern matches by measurement but I have not checked to see if they will work with the 6400's drum brakes.

The old style tires can be purchased at Miller’s Tires email (memiller@bright.net) or find Millers on the web. STEVE JENSEN at NEBRASKA TIRE, FIRTH, NE 68358, has been very helpful and I suggest talking with him on the tire issues. They're in FIRTH, NE 68358 and can be contacted at 1-800-234-5242/FAX 402-791-5851. They have a decent website also. Tires run about $95-$100 each and shipping is about $15 per tire.

I welcome any comments or recommendations on these old truck issues.
Thanks/Don
