47 to 53 Chevy pickup questions...Posted by Steven@AZ on January 30, 2006 at 18:07:19 from (24.121.48.188): Thinking about buying a 48 Chevy pickup (or a 51, depending on which one is in better shape) to fix up as a daily driver/light load hauler/trailer puller. Is $500 a decent price for a solid restorable pickup? Not running, but engine is loose and all the tin is there and decent or repairable. Could someone point me to some good websites with info or stories/pictures of other 47-53 Chevy pickups? Thanks a million!
