'48 FordPosted by Eric Allen on December 10, 2005 at 18:09:38 from (64.80.14.251):
I have a 48 ford truck in the back yard I dreamt of restoring since I was a kid, but I am realizing it's just not going to happen. Is there any way to estimate what it was worth? It has been sitting for many years, has some broken glass, rusted out box and rocker panels, but still has good doors, fenders, engine(flathead V-8), radiator, grill, and probably transmission. Is there a reasonable price for something like that or is it just junkyard fodder? I'ld rather try to sell it next spring if it's worth it, I saved it from the crusher this fall and just want to see it go to good use somehow if possible. Thanks
