What is this truck, and do you have pics?

My son recently began a summer job working for a guy in a custom hot rod shop. His first task is to dismantle for an acid bath a '53(?) GMC series 450 truck. I checked the gallery here on this site, but I haven't found pics of any trucks that look like this one.

The following serial number is on the tag located on the driver's door pillar: 452 XI709
Only the cab is at the shop, but I believe it was mounted on a chassis with a fifth wheel. Part of the grill is the number "450". The fenders have turn signals mounted on the top surface, and larger ones protrude out the sides. It has four running lights, an air horn, and a sun visor mounted on the top of the cab.

Can any of you tell me something about this truck, and most importantly, do any of you have pics of this type truck? It's cab is going to be mounted on a customized mid-80s 4-wheel drive Suburban chassis.

Thanks for any info,
Jerry
